Justin Timberlake’s Performance on the CMAs Will Make Any Country Music Fan’s Jaw Drop

Country music crowned Chris Stapleton Best New Artist for 2015, but it was his duet with Justin Timberlake that brought down the house last night at the Country Music Awards in Nashville, TN. The duo first sang the classic “Tennessee Whiskey,” and the audience couldn’t get enough of the star pairing. (Stapleton’s wife also added her vocal chops to the mix.) But it was their rendition of Timberlake’s “Drink You Away,” that really killed it. (“Lord have mercy,” Timberlake said at the end of that tune.)

Timberlake has been championing Stapleton forever and took to Twitter to proclaim his fandom last year. So it was a treat to see him show his love on stage. Well played, you two! When are you going to do a record together? Watch the two mega-stars below, and we’re sure you’ll be clamoring for them to do one, too.
